 At
Carolina Skiff we think the true freedom of boating begins before
a boat even touches the water. Unlike most manufactures, we leave
it up to the boater to decide what options and accessories they
will need. Whether a pleasure boat, fishing boat, or work boat,
Carolina Skiff's full line of accessories allow dealers to custom
design the ideal boat package to your specifications.
Carolina
Skiff is one of the most durable, versatile and economical boats
built today. Carolina Skiffs are currently being used by fishing
and dive guides, the US Government, state and local agencies, construction
companies and recreational boaters all over the world.
 With
proper weight distribution the Carolina Skiff hull may self-bail
correctly. This does not mean that Carolina Skiff, Inc., can guarantee
its product to self-bail under all conditions.
Carolina
Skiffs are built tough and virtually unsinkable using a proven and
patented, sealed foam box beam construction process. (US patent
#4,495,884.)
Carolina
Skiff hulls contain no wood to rot, even the transom is high density
foam with a fiberglass core. All hulls exceed the US Coast Guard
requirements for stability and floatation.
 Carolina
Skiff has a patented hull design (US patent #DES.331,561) that is
one of the most efficient in the world, carrying more weight further
and faster with less horsepower than most any other boat built.
Carolina
Skiff, Inc. warrants the hulls construction against delamination
or separation for a period of five years providing that the integrity
of the hull and floor has not been damaged by improper rigging,
user damage or neglect. For specific details about the Carolina
Skiff warranty, read the warranty information you receive with the
purchase of your new boat.
 Nearly
the whole process of building a Carolina Skiff is done in one step.
We pre-cast our transom and foam flotation, when use the pre-cast
foam for the basis of our stringer system. All the stringers are
formed by sandwiching fiberglass between the foam logs before installing
the transom and laying up the deck and gunnel. This system gives
each Carolina Skiff hull ribs which creates one of the most durable
hulls in the skiff industry. The process is patented and gives you
one of the highest strength-to-weight ratio hulls available.
Even
cut into three pieces the Carolina Skiff still floats. The vast
volume of floatation and the positive buoyancy allows the Carolina
Skiff to handle heavy loads with ease. |
