Direct Injection Of Power And Speed
You
don't get points for going slow, whether you're after largemouth
bass or tournament-winning kingfish. Which is why there are
Evinrude direct injection outboards. Our big-displacement
V6s refuse to take prisoners, thanks to superior mind-warping
acceleration and top-end speed. All this while maintenance
unheard of fuel efficiency and still meeting the essential
federal and state emissions requirements.
Thanks
to our simplified design and fewer working parts, the Evinrude
225 HP is 73 pounds lighter than Yamaha's 225 4-stroke and
76 pounds lighter than Honda's*.
